Saree said Yemeni forces succeeded moments earlier in targeting a Saudi combat unit in Taiz with locally produced missiles, forcing it to withdraw.
He also said Saudi warplanes carried out 64 airstrikes over the past 24 hours on Taiz, Hodeidah, Marib and al-Jawf provinces. The strikes were carried out by F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets flying from King Fahd base in Taif and King Khalid base in Khamis Mushait, he said.
